A little personal background. I am a early 50's male traveling with a female. I live in Canada, but born in Europe. I speak several languages. I have cruised with Norwegian, Princess, Celebrity (4), Royal Caribbean and Carnival. Now Costa.
The lowest ranking Costa by far. I will try to explain why. It is a very nice ship, reminded me of the Carnival Pride. Fair size cabin and balcony.
Now someone had a great idea, allow cellphones to work on the ship in port and at sea. The ship was full to the max. I think 3750 and 1008 crew. Phones were ringing non-stop including dinner. Many of the crew were standing around and sending test messages.
