Just got back from a 7 night cruise on the Caribbean Princess, July 8-15. Traveling with two families of 4 (both with mom, dad and two teenage daughters) and one grandpa, for a total of 9. We did the Western Caribbean itinerary.

We arrived at the terminal about noon and were on the ship by 1:00. We immediately headed to check out the staterooms. My wife and I in a Dolphin Mini suite and our two teenage daughters and my two teenage nieces directly across the hall were in an interior room. Brother in Law and his wife had a nearby interior cabin and grandpa also had an interior. All four teenagers were under 18, and we had no problems regarding the "must have and adult in each room" rule. All the rooms were great, especially our mini suite. I used the bathtub every day.

We enjoyed the uncovered balcony and used it quite a bit as a gathering place for our group. Being uncovered we were able to quickly dry wet clothes by hanging them over the chair arms, and at night we had a full view of the sky. Also, there is nothing but ocean when you look over the rail, no obstructions by other balconies.
