In Summary RE: Norwegian Fjords

Value: Expensive in the high end categories. Some were able to get a suite at the last minute for 1/3 the cost. The value is in the quality of services and the itinerary. The Norwegian Fjords are breathtaking. Some rare excursions are a must do since you are there. The shuttle pontoons used in Norway are awesome. Cool drama removing them from the ship. If you can get on this ship and can afford a balcony, it's the way to go for an itinerary like this one. But, just getting on the ship would be worth the effort. Be sure to get up early enough to see the Fjords in the AM of arrival and expect to see sunlight until midnight as you travel north - really fun to be in the pool late and it's still daylight.

Ship: Plenty to do, especially if you have money for the spa services. Take advantage of the services -even acupuncture, the lighter fare in the Healthy informal restaurant, the salt pool (slip in after dinner, no one is there) and get out and walk the track to enjoy wonderful cool blue skies.
