The Century is an older ship but still very well kept. The embarkation was the best I have ever had on a cruise line. Efficient service and speedy boarding. Our cabin was very nice and the fact that there were three people in it, although I was apprehensive about it, was absolutely fine. Plenty of room for storage, etc. Each port of call had many excursions and all appeared to be well planned. Since I have visited these ports before I did not take advantage of the ship's shore trips. When we arrived in Grand Cayman the waters were rough and the tenders had a hard time transporting the passengers both to and from the ship. This created a lot of tension and anger in the passengers, some of whom had to wait two hours for a tender. Also, in Cozumel, the waters were rough and the shore excursions which involved water sports were cancelled. My daughter had privately booked a "swimming with the dolphins" trip for herself and my granddaughter and they were able to go and had a great time.

The cabin service on the Century was excellent and the food in both presentation and taste was above average. Our wait staff in the dining room was excellent. My only complaint would be that the public areas of the ship were not cleaned up early enough and, being a smoker, that all ashtrays were removed at night from all areas and one was hard pressed to find one.

My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the children's program and spent most of her time with the friends she made on the ship. The counselors seemed very friendly and all the kids seemed to be having a great time.
