Before I went on this cruise...I did some research like how they handle your luggage from and to the airport. That's why I decided not to use Carnival Bus Transfer. As for the flights, I went to Travelocity.com and save about $40...it's cheaper to book by yourself. Anyway, this is my cruise vacation.

Day 1 - JFK to SJU, there was a one hour difference between NYC and San Juan. By the time I got there, it was 5:20 PM. I didn't worry about getting there late...since it leaves the port at 10:00 PM. I went to the airport taxi, you just tell them which ship you are going and they will give you a slip and then pay the taxi driver when you get there. The trip cost about $18 per trip (not per person like in St Thomas and other Caribbean Island). If you have more luggage, they add more money to it. Anyway, the ride only took like 15 minutes. I got to the port. One of my luggage was little bit too bulky and it couldn't fit into the scanner...so they told me to take it outside and put it there till someone takes it up to your room. Ok...thru the security was fine. Got my card and here I go...Big Ship...it's the same ship design I've been on the Carnival Victory. Got inside the ship...9 floor please.

Ah...LOVE THE ROOM, not because it doesn't have a balcony, not because it doesn't have a window, and not because it's an inner room, it's on LIDO DECK. HA HA HA. Just two doors down and I'm on the deck...where all the fun is at!!! I try the buffet..ah still the SOS (same old s@!t). Before I took this cruise, I was told that I was suppose to receive some bonus stuff...never got it. I call and left email to my Carnival Personal Cruise Planner, never heard from him. Plus, I told him to put me in late dinner...I got the early dinner. But I'm still fine. At night time, I made it to the midnight buffet...again SOS.
