Alas, unrealistic expectations I guess.

My wife and 12 y/o daughter and I took the VoS for our first foray into Europe and only our 2nd cruise ever. After having a wonderful experience on Holland America's Zaandam in Alaska last year, I have to admit I was fairly disappointed with this cruise.

First a caveat: I really enjoyed Europe. Barcelona was beautiful. Villafranche was mesmerizing. Florence and Pisa were stunning. Rome was humbling. Capri was pure magic. Palermo was very nice.
