This was my first cruise and my spouses second. I guess you might say I will have high expectations from now on.

We began our cruise by flying in to Orlando Intl. the day before our cruise. Picked up our Avis rental and were off to the Radisson at Port Canaveral. Check-in was a breeze and overall the Radisson is good value for the $. Nice sleepnumber beds also.

On Sunday morning we awoke to see the glorious Mariner waiting for us in port. We knew, from reading various CC posts, that we could board before the published 1pm embarkation time. We returned our Avis rental and were off to the terminal via the shuttle. We arrived(approx. 11 a.m.) and went through all the checkpoints with no problems. We did, however, have a slight delay when doing our official check-in before boarding. There was a computer delay in allowing anyone to check-in and board. This was promptly fixed and we were checked in and on board by 11:15 a.m.
