Aloha! I just returned from my 7-day cruise from the Pride of Aloha and I had a wonderful time. We had a group of five ranging in age from 25 to 51.
General Information
Condition of the Ship: The ship was extremely clean and the air conditioning seemed to be working just fine. The ship was always clean. I have read reviews that there was trash lying around for hours and while I did see evidence of trash on the pool deck, it was usually cleared away by 6:00 am. I actually put the blame more on the passengers who left all that junk behind rather than the staff who did an excellent job keeping things in order. Embarkation was a breeze; we were on the ship in a matter of minutes. Our luggage was delivered with an hour and our room was ready upon our arrival. Our cabin stewardess "Mel" was the absolute best ever; she cleaned our room daily and gave us turn down service every night-she also made the greatest towel rabbit ever. Disembarkation was also a breeze since we chose to use Easy Fly - something I highly recommend. It was well worth the $20.00 not to have to lug baggage around. We just walked off the ship with our carry on. People The staff was wonderful, especially our cabin stewardess-Mel and Julio Valle Puerto from the Hukulai Lanai (he is in charge). The only rude people I encountered were some of our fellow passengers. Food
