We booked this cruise in July of 2006, this was our 5th cruise with Celebrity. (Galaxy and Summit twice each) Let me start off by saying that my wife and I enjoyed our selves, it was a good cruise, but it was NOT up to Celebrity standards. The food in the main dinning room was very bland, it sounded good on the menu and looked good on the plate but everything tasted the same. Our table-mates (eight cruises with Celebrity) felt the same.
The entertainment was another sore spot, one night the show in the Celebrity theatre was a movie. One of the main reasons that we booked this cruise was to see Cirque du Soleil. They were not on board, maybe that is why we got the movie. Thank god for Perry Grant who performed each night in Michaels Club.
Celebrity STILL has the best staff in the business. We have cruised 12 times on various lines and the different staffs on all of the Celebrity ships are second to none.
We would cruise Celebrity in the future, but I think that we would book on a different ship.
