First of all this was the third cruise for my husband and I but our first cruise with our children. We have 3 children a girl 18 and 2 sons 14 and 11. We chose the 3 night cruise from Port Canaveral because we found a great deal through Southwest airlines for a deluxe suite that could accommodate all 5 of us nicely and it definitely did. We also chose this cruise for the destination because we had never traveled to the Bahamas.

We flew into Orlando the night before to make sure we would have plenty of time to reach Port Canaveral in the AM. We chose private transportation through Around the Clock which turned out to be an excellent and pleasant experience. They were also cheaper than the transport through Carnival and were right on time. Of course, we called about an hour ahead of time to confirm our pick up from the hotel as well as our pick up from the ship upon our return. The drivers were friendly and courteous all the way.

Our embarkation was smooth as silk. We had VIP check in for return cruisers which was awesome and too nice for words. Carnival's staff both in port as well as aboard the ship have always been nothing but wonderful and upbeat which is very important to weary travelers.
