Seabourn Spirit - Western Mediterranean

Review for the Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Spirit

We sailed the Spirit in late May. It was exceptional in every way. Our cabin was spacious with a huge walk-in closet, frig full of cocktails and a king sized, amazingly comfortable bed. We left from Piraeus with stops at Mykonos, Mylos, Patmos, Kusadasi, disembarked in Istanbul. Everything about the Spirit was designed for the comfort of its passengers. Its intimate size made it possible for the crew to get to know everyone. The service was attentive and the crew eager to please, brining cold towels to the pool, followed by frozen fruit skewers and icy drinks. The entertainment staff were dazzling professionals. They kept everyone dancing without being too "cruisy". The food was delicious and unique. The shore excursions were exceptional, especially the private concert at Ephesus. It was thrilling. It was a beautiful night, the ruins were torchlit by people in period dress, white clothed tables were set with wine and cheese. The music was performed by the Aegean Strings in front of the ancient library facade. Truly an experience we will never forget and it was included in the cost of the cruise! the Spirit was by far the best cruise we ever. Well worth every penny and we can't wait until we can go again.
