I went on this cruise with my boyfriend and parents. It was fantastic!

Embarking was a breeze. Remember to do your online check-in. The line to drop off luggage was pretty long, but better than those who came later. (we came at 1pm)OUr rooms were ready right away, and then we immediately went to the windjammer for lunch. I can't say I was impressed with it, but more on that later.

Food- I loved the dining room food. I've been on a carnival cruise and the food here was far superior. If I were you I'd eat there for lunch and dinner. The windjammer/jade is a buffet for informal seating and it was "OK" If they have a cutting station for meat--get that first because it's usually pretty good.
