Have recently returned from a back to back cruise on Pride of america and I must admit after reading the reviews on here was most hesitant as to what we were in for. let me firstly say well done POA team for your embarkation process ...outstanding ,fast and efficient. The ship I expected to be some kind of tribute to the star spangle banner, thankfully it was not and now has a definite Island look whilst still having a mainland feel. Cabin no bigger no smaller than any other ,balcony huge!
The staff I found to be the most friendliest I have found on any ship and yes many were not experienced and perhaps not all were suited for this kind of work but this was the first time I felt WELCOME and not just a number......WELL DONE you guys!!!! There is definite work to be done with the housekeeping of cabins but hey how many teenage americans clean !!!! we did mention this to management and issue was resolved.
We had a balcony cabin with extended balcony but be warned this comes at a price if on deck 7 as this is directly above the nightclub and makes it virtually impossible to sleep -GET earplugs if you want this biggest balcony,i thought the lack of sleep was worth it for the space.
