Our first cruise...came and went too fast! Embarkment was a breeze! We hate lines and confusion, no issue here. We were greeted at the port and were processed and eating in the Windjammer Cafe inside of 30 minutes! Waitstaff was wonderful, wish we could take them home! We looked as forward to our waitstaff almost as much as the fare itself. Rooms were small but adequate. Sailing was smooth and timely and several times during the 3 days we had to remind ourselves we were actually sailing. OK, not all rave reviews...pools could have been more shallow! Odd? Not really, they were 5'7" deep and salt water, so you couldn't really relax in the pool because you had to constantly tread water...no shallow end to just hang out in! Hot tubs in my opinion were quite laughable! We had almost 3,000 people on our cruise and they had just 2 tiny hot tubs that barely fit 4 people in at a time and you better like playing footsies because all legs in that hot tub were quite jammed!

The lifejacket mandatory drill was far too long and to be honest, in case of an emergency, nobody is going to remember what was said then anyway...this could be shortened drastically! Entertainment was good. Their musical review team was great and energetic! Wish the show was longer but they had to do 2 to get everyone in so that's understandable.

Cococay island...hmmm...well, very quaint, buffet lunch was nice but going in the water without a raft of water shoes is not advisable! Walked into the water and almost broke my ankles with all the hidden rocks and slime covered treasures...made it very uncomfortable and dangerous to try and walk! Not good! Water was warmer then we're used to in the northeast US but not good if you can't walk around and enjoy it! Don't know how tough it is to rake out a hundred yards of sand to make the ocean floor more comfortable but they should try!
