I am a widow woman, age 53. I travelled with my daughter (20), her husband (25) and my grandson (1 old year baby). Also travelling with us but in different staterooms were family members ( 5 adults, 1 teenager girl and two girls ages 11 and 5). We arrived from Puerto Rico to Miami airport on the embarkation day and took a taxi for $30 to the port. (It was not far from airport).

The embarkation process was easy. The line was long but moved fast. And in not so long time we were inside the most luxurious, shining-new and beautiful ship: Freedom of the Seas. Our first stop was at the Windjammer. The food there was so exquisite and varied! The employees were so friendly and serviceable. They even hold my plate while I was carrying the baby and they helped me to get the sodas to my table. Then we went to our stateroom. It was beautiful, we had perfect oceanview, the beds were reasonably comfortable, the bathroom was perfect with adjustable hose-type shower and cabinets for our shaving creams, toothpaste, etc. Also the room had more cabinet space (small but good) to place perfumes, etc. We were three adults and a baby and we were comfortable.

Now we moved to check the pools. The kiddy pool was good and fun even for adults. There were four or more Jacuzzis, even two in kids area. There were two areas of pools for adults, but up to my knowledge they were no higher that 5 feet so I could not jump to dive but I admit it is safer this way. We did not need olympic pools really. For the teens there was a good place to be in the surfers pool. The teen travelling with us spent a good time there. Also there were special discos and activities for teens.
