My Mother and I were on the Golden Princess to Alaska's Inside Passage on May 19-26. Embarkation was a breeze, and we were on the ship in 15 minutes.
This cruise was our first one on Princess. We have been on Royal Caribbean 3 times and Carnival once. Although the ship wasn't as extravagantly decorated and fancy as the larger RCCL ships we've been on (Mariner of the Seas), it was very clean, and everything was conveniently located. You did have to watch which elevator you got into, because not all elevators went to the same floors.
Our stateroom (outside cabin with balcony) was spacious and accommodating, and our cabin boy provided superb service through the entire cruise.
