From the moment I climbed on the bus to leave Naples, FL to get over the Alley to Ft. Lauderdale, this was a trip I knew that I would remember! My best friend and I had booked this trip to "get away" and relax. The Port was great, we had VIP boarding and just whizzed right onto the ship. She is a beauty too! It is a typical Carnival ship (I have never cruised on Carnival before but have read other reviews) in that it is total glitz. It was great. We boarded and went to our cabin a suite and it was all I expected it to be. My friend had not cruised before so she was surprised at the size of the cabin. It was perfection for us! Our luggage arrived shortly after the lifeboard muster and we were off to meet our Cruise Critics friends. We were late, but still got to exchange our small gifts with 2 other late comers. Had a photo taken and back to checking out this great ship.

Overall, we found the service to be wonderful (I was surprised since I had heard that Carnival being the fun ships that we would not have great service this cruise put that thought to rest. When I returned home I told my husband this is the best value for the money! The cabin steward was perfect, he was not overbearing but did what he needed to and we hardly saw him. One night we left a note to please uncork a bottle of wine we had and not a problem. The dining room service was awesome. Our waiter and his assist did a great job. The food was excellent. It wasn't until about day 2.5 that we discovered the added rooms for the big buffet. What an amazing array of foods!

We went to the spa on the first port day in Freeport we both had been there before and did have a need to go there. The spa was just what we needed to start our relaxation. We both had a sea weed wrap/massage. Wow, did we both relax! Anna who was my masseuse did an excellent job! Read more
