This was our second cruise on the Norwegian Dawn and our fourth NCL cruise. We took an up sell from a balcony to a penthouse AE suite for a great price. Having a penthouse gave us special perks such as priority embarkation and disembarkation, priority tenders, butler service, etc... Needless to say all these extras helped make this one of our best cruises ever.

We enjoyed eating a full breakfast each morning in our cabin. For lunches we would either grab a quick bite or eat in the dining room. We avoided the buffet because the seating and layout was one of the worst we have seen on a cruise ship. There were times when people were wandering around trying to find tables. The food layout was also confusing for folks.

Our favorite dining room was Impressions. Our favorite specialty restaurant was the Salsa. On this cruise we were always able to find a good chair around the pool (In other words, not a lot of chair hogs on this sailing) which made the cruise much more enjoyable.
