My sister and I set sail on the Crown Princess on 5/21/07. I am 32 with 11 cruises taken. My sister is 27 with 4 cruises taken. This is the first on Princess.

We set out on the Monday with air from Boston to JFK. An easy hour and a half. When I had called Princess about transfers a couple of weeks before they said the transfers were closed, but I could get transfers from the representative at the airport. When I called about an unrelated issue a week later I asked the Princess agent to confirm. She said that we would be unable to get the transfers at the airport. No big problem, except I heard a lot of the taxi driver's don't like to go to Brooklyn. Some don't even know how to get to the port. We arrived at JFK at 9:15am. We spotted the Princess representative in baggage claim. We asked whether we could get on the shuttle. Gwendolyn went out of her way to make sure we could get on the shuttle to the port. Thank you Gwendolyn for making this trip start out right.

We arrived at the cruise terminal shortly before 11am. By 11:30 we were given a boarding number and checked in. We were in the first group. We boarded about 1pm. If everything went this smooth on the trip we were in for a good time.
