Ship Facts: Liberty of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Liberty of the Seas Deck Plans
Liberty of the Seas - Western Caribbean
We were lucky enough to be on the Maiden voyage of the ship. It was AN AWESOME trip in so many ways!

The ship was great, the service was great, the food was great! We got special gifts every night for being on the maiden voyage!

Embarkation, got to the pier around 1000, on the ship around 1145. Boarding process/check in didn't start until 11ish, but went fairly smooth.

Ken Rush was the cruise director - very good, enjoyed him a lot!

ENTERTAINMENT - WONDERFUL, they had awesome shows! Abbacadabara (ABBA Tribute band), Rain - the beatles tribute band, they did 3 production shows, of course the ice show, and 2 comedians, both with late night shows! definitely one of the highest quality entertainment cruises I have been on. They had a 70's dance in the promenade, and an 80's dance party in studio B both of which were really fun!

FOOD - Food was good, normal RCCL fare, but the staff (Both dining and windjammer) were wonderful. There has been a rumor that Jonny Rockets is now charging 5.00 cover, that is not true, it is still 3.95.

THE SHIP - Wonderful! I really like this class of ship. It is the same as the freedom except they took the book store out by the cafe promenade, and replaced it with the Loyalty Ambassador's new office.

PORTS - Not really too much to comment on here, as everyone has over and over on the port reviews!

DEBARKATION - SLOW! They had 24 customs agents working that day, and the line still moved really slow compared to a lot of other ships, but wasn't that bad.

The only thing that I wish they would change on the ship, is to bring back some of the game shows. They still play Love and Marriage, quest, and Battle of the sexes, but I miss things like the Liars Club, Majority rules, and some of the other ones.

This turned out to be a GREAT cruise! We all had a blast! Everything was wonderful on this ship!
