Booking a year ago and anticipating our cruise for so long, it has sadly come and gone. We booked through our agent, including hotel and transfers through Princess. We went in two days prior to the cruise, staying at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers. The price was comparable to booking it on line directly. Perfect location, downtown Manhattan. Great hotel. I recommend getting the transfers. We paid $40.00 each and it was well worth it. This included picking us up from the airport and delivering us to the hotel, from the hotel to ship and then again from ship to airport. It seems it is always rush hour in N.Y. Traffic was always heavy. We figure we saved over $120.00 in cab fare alone and it was nice to have someone else carting our luggage and not having to hail a cab which is always problematic in N.Y. We were also one of the first to disembark due to the buses waiting. Another perk. We loved N.Y. city. Two days was not enough to cram in all there is to see and do. I recommend the Hop on/Hop off double decker bus. It cost 40 dollars for a 24 hour ticket and allowed us to see most sites. We chose to walk from most stops which is the best way to see this beautiful city.

Embarkation was quick and efficient. Fifteen minutes tops from bus to room. - We missed the port of Bermuda due to strong gale winds so I cannot make comment. We did get to rescue a yacht stranded at sea which made missing the port unimportant.

We saw a couple of shows but I am not usually overly impressed with the productions on Princess although we did get to see Juan Carlos whom I had heard about. Catch him if you can, he was very talented and the show was fabulous. One band stood out, Voltz, played everything from Island music to Country at different venues.
