I was on the Pearl's first Alaska sailing- just wonderful. :) This was cruise 48 for me, so for me, I'm not that impressed with new ships. Alaska was my priority.

I arrived the day before, stayed near the airport and true to my name- I took the city bus to port. Took an hour, but only $1.25 and a couple blocks walk.

The departure had great scenic sailing, that I stayed out several hours for. The first day was VERY smooth- atypical actually. Saw many migrating humpbacks in this timeframe and only bonus of sailing outside Vancouver Island, which is my preference.
