This was the second cruise for us. We decided to try Royal Caribbean because of the good we had heard. It is so true about the good. We drove to Galveston (1 1/2 hrs. drive for us). Check-in was so smooth. We boarded about 11:30. Luggage was dropped off, van parked and we checked in. We went to have lunch and then we walked the ship, checked on our dinner seating arrangements, checked on our cabin and then went on top to watch us sail off.

From the beginning to the very end we experienced nothing but good things. The service was excellent. All crew personnel were super. The food was outstanding. They had such a variety of things that if someone couldn't find anything to eat then they weren't hungry. The dinner meals in the dining room were outstanding. We didn't miss a night. We felt like we were royalty. Waiters were wonderful. We met some wonderful dinner mates and stay in touch now.

The entertainment was fabulous. Amazing there is so much talent on the ship. We were never, never bored. A person would never have to get off the ship in order to have something to do. There is plenty on board. All activities were very well planned. The Captain's question and answer session was so informative. The Captain's reception was super.
