We booked this cruise direct with RCCI at short notice as a way of traveling in style and comfort for a short holiday to Germany to see our son, who lives there.

We were Platinum C&A members when we booked (diamond now) so went via the personal booking agent and RCCI were excellent. We chose an Ocean View Guarantee, our first time using this method and were delighted with our cabin, 1082, port side and mid way between the atrium and the stern.

We flew independently to Oslo and stayed overnight, also booked ourselves; wow was that expensive, never again. Embarkation was simple and very quick, onboard within 12 minutes of arriving at 12pm in our taxi. The cabins were out of bounds until 1pm but the sky bar was open and were took advantage of the sunshine, great bar staff, Carlos and Lorenzo aided by Wu Ling - look out for them, they are just great.
