First off, This is our 15th Cruise, our 8th on Carnival. I have sailed on this ship before. The ship as always was clean. But there was a strong sewage odor on our floor for the first few days..I was also not impressed with the food selection or quality. I think the food has gone down hill, at least on this ship. The entertainment was fine and the crew was nice. We didn't ever see our room steward..and our waitstaff was just okay. I don't know if since it was a smaller ship that the service is not up to par with the Conquest or what, but I don't think we will be sailing this ship again. The casino was not very busy this trip , not many winning maybe thats why, usually there are people standing around, maybe not many gamblers ? The room are still nice and the bedding soft and comfy..My daughter even spoke with the captain twice, but all in all it was just okay. Maybe after you go so many times you expect more. I guess all in all it was a cheap cruise for 4 days, so as they say You get what you pay for..LOL Cozumel we went to Playa Mia, it was nice not too crowded at all. Nice place to go been here a few times, Hubby can go diving from here, and I can lay out, Kids (grown) rented jet skis..had fun.. We had one person who never cruised before , he had fun , but said food was not great. We didn't debark late about 5 hrs, due to medical emergency and had to turn around and go back to cozumel. But thats was okay , more time at the pool, but they do need a better way of getting off the ship when this happens I think the whole ship took their own bags off, even people who had 3 bags or more each, it was a bit of a mess.
