I will not bore you with a detailed list of our activities. I will try to be succinct and fair. I'm not sure how to make this brief, but, I'll try. This was our first Princess experience - our 4th cruise. Embarkation process was ok - facility was less than I expected. They had about 8 stations open, so the lines went smoothly.
First - the ship was immaculate - room and wait staff service was good - food was fairly good. I am a bit of a food snob, and I found the food to be less than I expected. Dining Room service was good, table was near the kitchen, but as a first time cruiser, we had no real pull to change. Tablemates (2 other couples) were great company.
Buffet area typical - crowded, but more servers available. More staff wandering the dining area to offer coffee, tea, etc than we had seen on other lines. We had an outside cabin at the front of the ship. Larger than I expected, and plenty of storage. Typical bathroom. Steward was timely and discreet, which we appreciated.
