Background Information This the 2nd cruise for me and DH. We brought our kids 28 mos & 7 mos. Since we'd been on a cruise before, we didn't want to miss our babies, we figured we could take them to Camp Carnival. Our 1st cruise was on RRCL Sovereign of the Seas, was just DH and me. This time I didn't want to travel alone, so we brought my parents, sisters + bf, other friends. I booked 5 cabins. We were ready to party on Carnival's Party Ships!!! Except for 1 person, they were all 1st time cruisers.
Ship Info The ship is older, I guess 80s/90s design. Once you get into the cruising mode, it was partying for us... we were all excited...there were lots of activities on the Inspiration! You will never run out of things to do, actually you don't have enough time of day to do everything you want to do.
Activities Is breakfast, lunch, dinner considered activities? We sure did enjoy them & was the highlight of everyday. I enjoyed the Casino-which seemed to be open everytime we checked. There was the spa, pools, kiddie pools, jacuzzi's, bars, shows, karaoke, Camp Carnival after 10pm for the baby. We liked tea time, it was a new experience - the snacks were delicious. Service The service was great! Crew were working & cleaning all the time. The crew was excellent. The purser forgot to give my DH the $116 leftover when we closed our sail n sign card. I freaked out and sent him right up to get it. Well the purser guy wasn't even sure if he gave DH the change or not, but he gave it to DH. Whew...
