My husband and I were joined by my sister and brother-in-law on this cruise. It was our 4th Carnival cruise and their 2nd.

The ports of call were Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, San Juan and Grand Turk.

We flew into Ft. Lauderdale the day before our cruise. We rented a car from Alamo and stayed at Sleep Inn, Dania Beach. We had seen some bad reviews for this hotel, so were a little worried. We had no problems at all with this hotel. It was clean and everyone was nice. There was a nice, hot, complimentary breakfast in the morning. We returned the car to the Miami airport. Alamo had a free shuttle from there to the port of Miami. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for the shuttle. We arrived at the port around noon. There were lots of lines, but we were through and on the ship within about an hour.
