We me(34) and kevin (29) flew in from baltimore at 9:30am slowly claimed our bags and hung around to kill a little time. Grabbed a 12 dollar taxi and were at the port by 10:45am. We sat until they they started boarding at about 11:30. I was having a drink of the day by 11:45. gotta love it!!! Next I found the nearest phone and made my chops reservation. Just the time and a sunset window table on the day I wanted. (This cruise is starting out great) we then grabbed a very nice lunch at the windjammer. the food was good and the selection was nice. After lunch and a little exploring we were off to see our room about 1:40pm. We found our luggage in the main hall and just took it with us.(can this get any better). we had originally bought an inside but we were upgraded to the oceanview and liked the window. We unpacked and had plenty of room. We then met our attendant Richard from Jamaica. He was very nice and took great care of us the whole cruise.
By now it was 4pm time for the muster drill.....if you have been to one you been to them all. it went very quick. Dinner in the dining room was very nice we were granted the table for two we had requested through our TA. it was nice. We were still close enough to chat with people near us if we chose to. our waiter was dennis and his assistant was Ting. they were both very nice and worked hard to make us happy. we only ate in the dining room twice. one night we ate at Chops and one night in the windjammer. We still tipped our normal amount plus some. Chops was a wonderful experience. the food was fantastic, the service was fantastic and the view and sunset were very romantic.
Key west it was a very pretty place, but in my opinion the stay was way too early and way too short. we did some shopping and hit the popular bars just to say we went. I was not too sad to get back to the ship. I would love to go back if I was able to stay well into the night.
