Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Embarkation in Miami was quite swift. There was a separate section for Platinum/Diamond and Suite members. There were sections set up for different sections of the ship but few people were respecting the queues.

This is our first balcony cabin. The room was tastefully and efficiently setup. The rounded corners of the bed was a surprise for us. The bedding was new and upgraded. The ship was laid out very efficiently with most public rooms built around the centrum.

The ship sailed a southerly route to avoid a nor'easter, which provided excellent weather for the first two days of the ship. The original captain missed the ship because of the nor'easter and a replacement captain was in charge of the ship until the captain could meet up with the ship in Ponta Delgada. The ship hit Beaufort 8 waves at 23 knots and still hardly wavered providing a smooth sailing for most.
