Arrival We live locally, so we (8 in our group) 6 arrived by taxi to the port. This was very convenient so we did not have to park ($$) multiple cars. We arrived ~ 10:30 AM and dropped our luggage with the porter, then we were off. We found the entrance to get on the ship, or we thought we did. After ~ 30 minutes wait we were told to move farther down to the next entrance. Not many rest rooms, I finally found one on the far side of the building. We waited in line and got our sea passes, then waited in line again to get on. It was not too painful, we were on board and at the Windjammer in ~ 1 hour.

First of all, I loved the Mariner. It was the best(of three previous ships I sailed). We had cabins on the 9th AFT deck with balconies. They brought our luggage in our rooms ~ 1:30 PM. We had a nice gift from our TA, a bottle of champagne, a fruit basket,$30 casino voucher and $40 chops grill tickets.

~ 4:00PM we were off, the party that I cruised with had the pleasure of my sister in law throwing a bon voyage party on her patio deck. So we toasted and drank Margaritas as we sailed off to sea.
