Ship: The ship is new and pleasant. The decor is a hodgepodge of colors and finishes. We have been on a Carnival sister ship that has the same floorplan and its decor was much more impressive. It is probably the ugliest interior design we have seen on any ship. There are many passengers that became evident on the days at sea around the main pool. Otherwise, there were not any crowds, and sometimes areas were deserted.

Cabin: We had an interior cabin which was satisfactory. It was roomy and large enough for us without being crowded. There is plenty of storage and the bathroom is large enough for normal functions. The service is superb and all of the room staff were very friendly. We always had fresh towels and a tidy room. We were past guests so we were upgraded to the ninth floor, which is the Lido deck. This deck has cabins only on the front of the ship and has the pools and Rosie's buffet restaurant. It was a great location!! It was so convenient to activities but very quiet since the hallways were short. We had dinner mates that had a cabin on the 8th Floor below the Lido deck and they had major noise complains, especially with people dragging deck chairs across the floor at all hours, and the noise from all the activities on that deck.

Food: We ate in the Lincoln Dining Room. We had the excellent Reuben sandwiches, enjoyed the chocolate buffet, and had late night pizza. It was all very good, in fact the best of any Carnival cruise that we have been on. Breakfast and lunch were just average. The fish and chips are not anything special. We didn't try the sushi, but our table mates raved about it. Service was superb in the Dining Room. We had a late seating which was good for us since we wanted to take advantage of all the daylight activities.
