This is our tenth cruise and first trans-atlantic. Age 50's. First RCL. Two previous Celebrity and one Holland. Long cruise 13 days. RCL considers this two cruises for loyalty purposes. Nice going, good loyalty lounge at the top of the spectrum. Great sound from down below.

Ship is beautiful and tasteful. Great space ratio. About 2K guests for 90K ton vessel. Tasteful use of wood and stone. Small things. The days of the week are noted in medallions on the floor of the elevators. Nice touch. Beautiful solarium. Nice gym, good equipment. Fair theatre looks dated. Nice touch, love seats and drink holders built into seats. Looks dated. Nice nice full centrum. fair shops. Decent outdoor pools. Never a problem getting chairs. Dining room is so so. Rear of the ship is used for galley so no view out. Feel is a bit claustrophobic. Nice layout of buffet with serving stations instead of serving lines. Nice views in buffet and nice rear outside eating areas. real nice. Nice balcony especially for a trans atlantic. Pleasant to hear to the sea at night with the door open. Problem neighbors smoked so couldn't keep the doors open as much as we liked. Nice gym, no problem doing cardio or weights.Nice touch. They encourage fitness and give away freebies if you participate. Small cabin. Excellent bedding. Problem. Heavy bedding kept slipping down due to crescent shaped bed. Bed was crescent shaped to fit smaller cabin. Grossly inferior showers. Way to small for a middle aged man or larger person.

Good personal service from waiter and assistant. Thanks Andrej and Pumza. Not so asst head waiter. Hardly appeared even to get his tip at the end of cruise! Bad. Sorry Borak. Food was uneven in the dining room. Some times good sometimes not. Wasnt important as we got on famously with a brit couple sharing the table. The windjammer buffet was typical buffet, uninspiring. Didnt do room service or specialty restaurant. Good cabin service but cabin steward did not introduce himself, was the other way around. Nice guy though. Thanks Jamie. Excellent entertainment.
