BACKGROUND INFO: This was my husbands and I's first cruise ever! We went during my Spring Break since I am a teacher.
DAY BEFORE: We flew in the day before the cruise. It was very easy and I felt more relaxed knowing I was there. We stayed the Airport Hilton in Tampa. The shuttle over to the docks was $5 per person. The hotel was nice and pretty cheap, only $90.
EMBARKATION: It took us about 30 minutes to get on board. There were lots of lines but they moved very quickly! I was surprised about how easy it was. It rained as we left but it was the only rain we had the whole trip.
