My husband and I (ages 27 and 25) just got back from a 5 night Caribbean cruise with Norwegian Pearl. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and this was perfect!! This was our 3rd cruise together, but first with Norwegian. I was a little scared when I booked this cruise because I had read reviews about most people on Norwegian being older. This is not true. There were people of all different ages on this cruise. We really enjoyed it as much as we have our Carnival cruises. We boarded the ship on Easter Sunday around 2:30. Going through the lines to get on board was very simple and fast. It was very organized. After we boarded the ship, our luggage arrived around 6:30 or 7:00. The cruise didn't leave until 8 so this was perfect. You can book dinner 2 nights in advance so we decided to book Mambos and La Cucina for our 1st 2 nights.

FOOD: There was no problem with the Freestyle dining, which I had previously read on here. The dining was very simple and we had no problem getting into restaurants or getting reservations when we wanted them. Mambos-YUMMY!!! This is a must. The Chicken quasadillas are wonderful. We also tried the nachos which were great. My husband had the Chicken fajitas and I tried the shrimp fajitas. They were both very good, but the chicken was better. The chocolate dessert is awesome!! La Cucina was great too. The penne pasta with marinara sauce and the pizza was good. I had a few glasses of pinot grigio which was wonderful. Our 3rd night we did a murder mystery dinner which was pretty fun. We ate in Summer Palace for it. The food was good here. For lunch and breakfast we ate in the cafe on the 12th deck. Very good variety of everything. Lunch was my favorite!! So much to choose from, it was hard to decide what to eat.

Disembarkation: Cozumel- Went very smooth and fast. This was our 3rd time to Cozumel and we really enjoy it. We booked the Adventure tour (with rappelling, zip line, rock climbing, and snorkeling). This was our favorite tour that we have ever done. And was worth the price $79 pp.
