These reviews helped me a great deal in preparation for my first cruise. I am going to approach this as to help people like me who had NO idea what to expect. My wife and I traveled with 2 daughters...one 15 and one 13. We are 40ish and do not have a ton of "disposable" income.

Upon arrival in Galveston, we noticed EZ Cruise which was a lot across from the actual port. Parking was 55.00 for 7 nights. They took us right to the front gate, luggage and all. It was great...no hassle and no headaches.

We had nothing to base the actual ship on. Never been on a cruise and did not know much about them. Actually getting on the boat was really quick...ten minutes max. They checked our paperwork and there were no problems. We arrived about 12:30 or so. Our first word when we boarded the ship was WOW. It was incredible. We toured for a while, grabbed something off the buffet, and then went to the upper deck for the sendoff party. It was a neat send off...real windy on the upper deck and a bit cool in Galveston, but nice.
