This was our first trip on The Wonder. We have cruised 5 times with Royal Caribbean-Sovereign, Voyager. This is our opinion only-we feel Royal Caribbean beats The Wonder hands down. We were very disappointed with this cruise. I will add that we did have 8-12 ft waves and my wife was sea sick the first night as was 1/2 the ship. Out of all the cruises we have sailed, we have never witnessed such rocking motion as on this cruise. We have been through some scary waves in the past too. We were on the 2nd level which should have been the least motion. We had disputed statements from staff about what my wife should take for sea sickness-we bought the wristbands which did not help-they told us the meclazine makes you feel as though you are hungover the next day-we actually should have taken that to avoid a sleepless 1st night. It rained at Castaway Cay to end the cruise. Taking away the rain situation, we were not that impressed with castaway Cay. We had to ride a bumpy tram to even get to the island where adults are told they will have the island to themselves.

The food was so so on this cruise-nothing to brag about other than Palos-it was good and we do recommend if you choose this cruise-to utilize this service. There was not alot of places to just hang out on this cruise. I am not saying we had a horrible time, I am only saying we were disappointed with the food, the service and we were not prepared to have to wipe our hands throughout all areas upon entering, etc.. This somewhat made us uncomfortable. I am glad they are taking precautions against the virus, but if you are not used to doing this, it will definitely change the way you feel about cruising. It made us feel like we were visiting a hospital where a relative required the isolation room (upon exiting you take the handwipes and wipe your hands down) After this cruise, cruising will not be on our top list for a vacation. Since all the virus situations, things have definitely changed. We were single on this cruise and did not take the kids. Our daughter would have been so seasick so we are glad she did not want to cruise this time-she's 17. Next time we will choose Royal Caribbean. There is so much more to do on their cruises, even for the little ones. Their island is like a tropical getaway, it doesn't have that touristy feel. Our cabin was very nice & more roomy that RC. The shows were ok but not impressive as you would have thought. We still love Disney but no more of their cruises for us. We will still visit Disney-we love the Mouse.
