My sister and I (23 & 19) sailed on the Quantum leaving from Cape Liberty, NJ on March 13th and had a great time. We were nervous after reading all of the negative reviews but we found NONE of the issues stated by other reviewers. Embarkation was the easiest process we have ever experienced (being on 10 cruises) we were on the ship within 15 minutes of arrival at the port. Once we boarded the ship our rooms were ready immediately! We got our WOW bands and explored the ship. The ship was stunning and clean beyond expectations.

Dining: We were not fans of dynamic dining, but it was no fault of the crew members, just the system. We made reservations ahead of time but when we wanted to change some of them we were unable to get a reservation at a normal dining hour. Some nights we were sat for dinner at 9:15/9:30 which is later than we had hoped. We ate dinner in the windjammer 3 nights during our trip and really enjoyed it. They had specials every night such as crepe stations, pasta stations, and various meat stations.

Entertainment: We saw all three shows and they were AMAZING! The cast was great and you could tell they enjoyed performing! Mamma Mia was exactly like the Broadway production, Starwater had great dancing and singing performances. By far, our favorite show was Sonic Odyssey! It was fascinating and amazing to watch, crowd gave the performers a standing ovation!

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin Q

We stayed in cabin 10529, a virtual balcony inside cabin. We thought the room was a great, spacious set up. They placed overhead compartments above the bed for extra storage which was a great idea that we never experienced on any other ship. There was storage in the closets and drawers as well. Bathroom was a typical size for an inside room, it fit all of our products and the shower was a great size too. It has a bar near the floor to assist when shaving which was a huge help!! It was slightly noisy at night with the movement of the ship going up and down the east coast, but nothing we could not handle. We would suggest getting patches and sea sick medication if you are not used to traveling from the east coast. Our room attendant was fabulous!
