My wife and did the 8-night Bahamas cruise out of Cape Liberty, New Jersey on March 13, 2015. Overall, the cruise was okay. Definitely better than the Oasis we sailed 2 years ago. This boat is much less kid-oriented than the Oasis, which is a good thing for couples without kids. (Still TONS for kids to do, but not overkill like the Oasis).
We like the variety of food options, but I think they were executed poorly, except at the restaurants that have their own kitchens (see below).
Here's the list...
The Stateroom: - Slow closing drawers and cabinets are very nice to keep from slamming. - Stateroom attendant - no communication. Clearly he's new to this. Plus he did a horrible job on his towel animals. - The stateroom toilets are freaking LOUD! We wake up every time a neighbor flushes a toilet. Other guests also complained about this. - Stateroom TV intermittently works for ordering room service - No light on the balcony? Nope. - Loud maintenance noises at night. We're up on the 13th floor on forward port side of ship. We would hear resonating *THUD* sounds every 2-10 seconds for a few hours almost every night. It was clearly crew doing some sort of maintenance. I assume it was coming from the 14th floor, but I can't be certain. Some periodic noise is expected. However, this was by far worse than any other ship we have been on.
