You either love the Marco PoloPolo despite its faults or the problems appear to become so magnified that they appear to be all you take from the cruise. Having read previous reviews we were a little concerned before we joined the ship. In the event we thought the cruise was excellent value for money that allowed us to visit parts of the world we had not visited before.

Embarking at Tilbury was well organised and our luggage arrived outside our cabin before we did. Our cabin a standard plus twin inner on Atlantic Deck was compact but had plenty of storage space. The beds were comfortable and big enough for a 15 stone 6' man. There was some noise from the TV in an adjoining cabin but it was not a real problem

The ship was smartly decorated, and was extremely clean. Staff could be seen cleaning through out the day.No Nova virus problem although there was a cold/cough that circulated.

Cabin Review

Cabin Standard Plus Inner

Small but comfortable. Plenty of storage in two full sized wardrobes. Safe was not charged for extra. Twin beds were very comfortable and bid enough for me and I'm 6' and weigh 15 stones. Only one chair but didn't cause a problem as we were only in the cabin to change and sleepsleep. Small ensuit with a good shower with hot water always available. Shower curtain was a bit flimsy.
