Simply the worst cruise we’ve been on from start to finish. Despite the generally excellent staff and ok food the overall standard was dreadful. Cramped down at heel cabins (and we paid for an upgrade!), downmarket facilities, old fashioned Butlins style entertainment hosts, overpriced excursions, etc. A service approach focused on extracting as much money as possible rather than your cruise enjoyment. Don’t be fooled by the Thomson “value for money” line – have been on infinitely better cruises with P & O and Voyages of Discovery and the actual cost is similar for far superior facilities. During the holiday my wife made me promise to never book another Thomson holiday, let alone a cruise. Very disappointing.

Cabin Review

By some considerable distance the worst cabin I've ever seen - tiny porthole at an angle so very difficult to see out of.
