I never write reviews, but carefully consider this cruise before choosing. We have been on many cruises, mostly on Carnival ships, and this ship/staff/experience ranks significantly below the even cheaper Carnival cruises that we have taken. The normal wonderful service, friendly staff was completely missing from this ship! The first night on the ship, it took an hour after ordering for our appetizers to even arrive. Our waiter literally threw our plates on the table at us, and the normal "fun" dinner experience was completely missing. The food was the worst that we have ever had on any cruise (including the cheaper ones!) and the buffet was terrible!

On the positive side, the Camp Carnival staff on this ship was amazing! My kids loved going to the activities and had a far better experience than they had had on other cruises. The room steward was efficient and did a nice job as well. Our whole family enjoyed the "Dive In" movies, a very nice feature of this cruise. Also, please use caution as Carnival does not warn you about the travel advisories for Roatan. The day before you arrive, they print something on your itinerary, but it is not the safest place, so please use caution and do NOT go out of the port on your own! I would definitely choose another Carnival ship over this one!
