If I had read these reviews before I booked the vacation, I would have never booked it. That would have been a huge loss!!! My husband and I are in our 30's and had a wonderful time on this ship. This was my third Carnival cruise - my husband's first cruise. Granted, the itinerary is a big draw. We loved waking up on a different island each day.

Recap: Embarkation was fine - No problems at all. We booked our own flights and took a taxi to the port. The taxi cost $25.00 for both of us. Got to the terminal - Very nice and easy to check in. We used cash for our sail & sign card so we had to go to the pursers desk to make the deposit. Not a big deal. There is a duty free liquor store right there by security. Definitely buy liquor and put in your carry on. The ship's crew does not check your bags - It is an independent company so they don't care what you do.

Got to the room. We had a balcony and it is definitely the way to go if it's in your budget. The room is a decent size. The new bedding package was wonderful. The bathroom was nice and clean and big enough for my my 6' 4" husband.
