It was my first cruise, so the expectations were high. Starting with the good points: the ship is gorgeous and the shows were awesome. The crew and overall organization were great, as the live music in the lobby. I went with my 13-year-old daughter and she enjoyed being in a Disney environment, being childish again, and at the same time dressing up for the night events and youth activities. However, the ship does not offer any water activities for her. There are only too tiny pools crowded with small children, and another tiny one only for adults with a few couples, as no parents would like going to the pool without their children, including myself. Hence, the Aquaduck always has at least a 40 minute line and it is not worth it. Therefore, we spent an entire day on the deck watching Disney movies on the big screen and reading. Of course, we can always eat a lot! Before each show, the captain repeats the logo of the cruise: "If you see it, eat it!" In Castaway Cay we finally got to swim in a pool! We did some snorkeling, but there is not much to see, just a couple of fishes. They have a lagoon with sting rays, however, they charge you $25 extra to go there. Finally, what made me disappointed with Disney is that we were assigned to a table in a hidden corner of all the restaurants, next to the working area. After the second night, I have asked both the waiter and at guest services to be assigned to another table for the last night, but they did not change it. Overall, I was glad that my daughter loved it, but there are certainly better options for a family trip.

Cabin Review

Standard Inside Stateroom

Cabin 11C

The cabin was next to the stairs and it was not a quiet place then. On TV there are just Disney channels; be prepared! The location was good; close by the Enchanted Garden restaurant.
