To start I would consider myself a seasoned traveler--touring Europe over the years, doing all-inclusive resorts and for the last 5 years becoming a cruiser. I have traveled as a child, into adulthood and now with my own family. My husband and I never felt we would become the "cruising" type but lone behold our family has decided cruising is our first choice for a vacation. All vacations are wonderful but alas some just stand out. We have now sailed on various ships, using different cruise lines and although I would not knock one particular line over another --each line and ship has their pro's and con's. We sailed on March Break, so if any week was going to test this ships capabilities this was the week. After reading many reviews before going on the Oasis I felt compelled to write my own...it is long but worth the read.
Activities: There is so much to do on this ship for all ages. From rock climbing, to shows, to shopping, to simply walking in Central Park. Some activities had lineups but nothing out of hand, even the most popular activities e.g Flow rider, rock climbing seemed to quickly funnel through lines. Remember you are on a ship with thousands of people, expect a few lines, be polite and patient --this is your vacation so what's the rush?
My Advice: read your nightly planner in FULL. Write down what you would like to do and see, so you don't miss out on all the fun.
