The food on the Glory is good. The staff in the dinning rooms provided excellent service. The staff each night sang or danced for us and they really did seem to enjoy themselves.
The shows, didn't go to any of them. For those of us who have sailed on the Glory before, the shows looked to be the same as last year. The only stop that we didn't care for was Belize. We just stayed in the dock shopping area. Actually, in each of our stops, we just did a little shopping and looking around. This cruise was for relaxing and taking it easy and that's what we did. We do think the locals in each port were a little more aggressive. Also, prices seem to have gone up since last year. The casino didn't seem as crowded this year and the slots - well, I think we may have almost broke even. Spring breakers were on board and that meant alot of kids. Camp Carnival did a good job with keeping the younger kids busy. Alot of teenagers but they kept to themselves and seemed to have a good time. Young and old, it seems to us everyone enjoyed themselves.
If you like getting your picture taken, then the Glory is the place to be. The photographers were all over the ship and for the most part, they took some good pictures. Be prepared to pay if you want your photo's, they are not cheap.
Our room was nice. We loved having a balcony. The bed was comfortable. Shower was rather small but we always had plenty of hot water. Getting off Glory on that final Saturday was not alot of fun. We waited on deck 9 until our floor and color was called. After that happened, it took close to a hour get off the Glory, go through customs, get our luggage and find our car. The good part, we were home in 1 hour and we have some great memories of a very enjoyable cruise. The bad part, the vacation was over. Till next year.....
