This was our 3rd vacation on the Glory so we went on this cruise knowing what to expect. Past experience told us to arrive around 3 and that was perfect. By 3:30 we were in our room. Our luggage showed up outside our room before 7 and we had our things put away before our 8 o'clock dinner.
The food on the Glory is good. The staff in the dinning rooms provided excellent service. The staff each night sang or danced for us and they really did seem to enjoy themselves.
The shows, didn't go to any of them. For those of us who have sailed on the Glory before, the shows looked to be the same as last year. The only stop that we didn't care for was Belize. We just stayed in the dock shopping area. Actually, in each of our stops, we just did a little shopping and looking around. This cruise was for relaxing and taking it easy and that's what we did. We do think the locals in each port were a little more aggressive. Also, prices seem to have gone up since last year. The casino didn't seem as crowded this year and the slots - well, I think we may have almost broke even. Spring breakers were on board and that meant alot of kids. Camp Carnival did a good job with keeping the younger kids busy. Alot of teenagers but they kept to themselves and seemed to have a good time. Young and old, it seems to us everyone enjoyed themselves.
