This was our 11th Cruise with Celebrity, and are now Elite members we arrived at Miami port extremely early as the Formula E race was on and celebrity emailed us to get to the ship earlier than normal. we arrived at 10.30am and the port was packed with people leaving the previous cruise aswell as those joining the ship.
we checked in quickly and were kept in a holding lounge. we were on the ship by 11.30am and it looked as spick and span as can be. we booked Tuscan and Lawn Club Grill and settled into lunch at Bistro on 5 which serves wonderful savoury and sweet crepes. this was when we noticed the waiter a restaurant we were put on a list for 30minutes - previous cruises , it was a walk in. the first night we went to dinner ( we were anytime dining ) and were told that it was a wait of 30 - 45 minutes. actually we got a table after 25 minutes. we decided to book for the next night and were advised that all that was available was 5.45pm or 8.45pm this was the storey every night. we also normally ask for a table for 6 or 8 so we can meet new cruisers. out of 5 nights we are on table for 2 for 4 nights. when we queried the mic service to get into the dining room, the host said that the ship was full and they had over booked !!!! where did these people sleep - in the life boats?
Cleanliness - spotless spotless spotless except our room still had a shoe under the ed from a previous cruise.
The room was excellent , bathroom , one of the best on a ship with a proper shower cabinet. a balcony for 2 people was adequate. enough cupboard space to unpack 4 bags.
