This ship needs to be retired now and not in 2 years time as planned. There are holes in the floor under the carpets both in the main dining hall and also on the decks in front of cabins. The drainage covers near the pool were loose and wobbly and were either dropped or stuck up on one side so were dangerous. The food in the self service cafe was often cold, especially the soup and the garlic bread. The entertainment was pathetic and only lasted 3/4 hour in the main theater The tables in the theater often fell out of their 3 prong housing onto your feet if someone went past to go to other seats and therefore the glass was often chipped. The tea on sea days finishes at 5pm but nobody told the staff on the first day at sea so they closed teatime at 4.30pm. I was in a 'concierge' class cabin on the 9th deck. I was expecting fresh fruit when I arrived, sparking wine and flowers. The fruit consisted of 2 apples & 1 orange (which was our fruit for the following 14 days), a bottle of the cheapest sparkling wine the boat carries and I am still waiting for the flowers. The towels were hard and uncomfortable, luckily I had my own towel. The lifeboat drill was a farce, we had to go to our muster station in one of the lounges where they ticked off our name and we sat there without our life jackets whilst a talk was held and that was it. I have still to find my lifeboat or my life jacket! This is the first cruise ship out of 6 cruises where there was not 24/7 food. All the food closed at midnight. You were able to get tea/coffee but no food unless you ordered room service. Early disembarkation was meant to be for my cabin class, we were the second to last number to disembark. I WILL NEVER SAIL WITH CELEBRITY AGAIN.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

The cabins were adequate even though I was in 'consierge ' class. When I booked the cruise I was under the impression that upon arrival in my cabin would be a bottle of 'bubbly', fruit and flowers. We had the bottle, there were 2 apples and one orange and no flowers! The fruit delivered every day consisted of the 1 orange and 2 apples and we were meant to get hors d'oevres in the afternoon and aperitifs before dinner. We got a stainless steel platter with 4 indentations full of items we don't eat which they now call daily savouries just once a day. When questioned, we were told that the two had been changed as had the flowers. We never found the binoculars nor the second hair dryer and the golf umbrella was a normal black folding one. Very disappointing. With regard to priority disembarkation we were the second to last to disembark with a sticker number 17.
