We enjoyed our cruise on the Celebrity Equinox. We chose this ship because we sailed on her a couple of years ago to Europe. The ship is beautiful, but showing her age a little now. We saw some paint peeling on our balcony, and other places. Also, our cabin could have been cleaner when we arrived. I believe that the staff on board the ship are tired. I think they are sharing tasks and cannot fully concentrate on your cabin. We requested ice daily. It took 3 days to get ice consistently. On shore days, sometimes we had towels to take with us, other times we did not and had to ask. It just seems as though the consistant service to the cabin was not there. Note: we were Concierge class, and will probably not go that route again. The perks are not worth the price. I thought the food was good on board the ship. We ate at the buffet some nights, the main dining room, and also 3 of the specialty restaurants. We enjoyed "Silk Harvest" restaurant a lot, and also "Murano". The "Tuscan Grille" was like an "Outback" restaurant chain, and will probably never go to that one again. At each restaurant, plan on being there no less that two hours. We did have a very enjoyable cruise, but more staff is needed.
