we had a quick embarkation, no problems until my favourite suitcase which cost a fortune and basically new showed up in our cabin with a major dent/ tear in it, when we went down to report it there were other passengers with the same complaint. This ship is truly meant for transatlantic, 7 nights in November with ba d weather and we never felt a thing. We had done a couple of QE2 sailings before and had a great time but I thought this was too dull. Nothing going on after lunch until dinner. Room was nice, we had a balcony, room Stewart was great, the most fun was meeting fellow passengers for lunch and breakfast. Really frustrated with the pub, it was so busy prior to dinner and at lunch that there were never any seats to be had. The strangest experience was when I had to purchase some "feminine products" at the gift shop and a male staff member told me he couldn't sell them to me, that he would have to get a female staff member from the adjacent shop, kinda embarrassing. However when all is said and done its a nice way to travel at the same price as flying without the jet lag
